Local channels without HD programming, on the other hand, may be accessed at Iowa (Sioux City), North Carolina (Greenville), Ohio (Columbus, Dayton), Philadelphia (Erie), Texas (Wichita Falls), Virginia (Charlottesville), and West Virginia (Clarksburg), Wisconsin (Wausau).

The Super Dish satellite dish can offer local channels broadcasted by satellites orbiting at 105°, 110°, 119°, and 121°. At present, there are only three cities that can offer local channels to Dish Network subscribers using the Super Dish: Terre Haute (Indiana), Providence (Rhode Island), and Charleston (South Carolina).
Local Programming for Subscribers with a Second Satellite Dish
In some areas, access to local channels cannot be offered by a single satellite dish. A second one is needed and it receives feeds transmitted by satellites orbiting at either 148° or 61.5°.

Ineligible parties may still have access to local programming but for a slightly higher fee at $5.99 per month.
